GRWM (Getting Ready With Me) #2

Yet another simple cat eye look with plenty of highlighter, I swear the next GRWM will slightly more interesting with PINK Kiko shadows and heavy lashes – applying red lippy like a boss. However for now here is Getting Ready With Me #2 – a simple look

When I have prominiant bags under my eyes I use Clinque Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer Breeze, Ideally I’d like to use Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat concealer  – an absolute classic make up essential guaranteed to cover all dark marks.

Brows are key to get right espeaclly now with the brow hype, thanks to  Emilia Clarke and Cara. I don’t think there has been so much focus on brows since 2008 -2009 when the thin brow was a must, and from that I wrecked mine so have to work extra hard to get them looking full. Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil is AMAZING! well its all in the name really,  I cannot believe I haven’t usesd it before. Soap & glory have a wide range of Archery brow products, that are all value for money. Followed by Benefit Gimme Brow Tinted Eyebrow Gel creates natural looking fullness.

Bourjois Delicé de Poudre Bronzing Powder is great for a natural contour, however I don’t use the highlighter as it doesn’t pop as much as MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder, which you can bag for only £3! from Superdrug.

For my eyes I used THE ESTEE EDIT BY ESTEE LAUDER, Kendall Jenner, The edit eyeshadow palette which is an absolute investment piece for any make up bag, I’ve had it over a year and I use it everyday without fail.

For my lashes I used Soap & Glory Thick & Fast High Definition Collagen Coat Mascara which never fails to give me either full lashes or not so full. I have naturally long dark lashes (I know it’s a godsend) sometimes I don’t want them too full as they do look fake and I’m not about that look anymore (when I was 16 I used to have to cut fake lashes before wearing them as my real ones were bigger, I only wore them for going out to achieve a dramatic full thick look, which like I said, I’m not about that look anymore) I’m also not about going out either (call me a saddo, I’d rather waste my money on other things and socialise in different ways)

OOTD – This was from my birmingham trip, for a walk around the city centre, I went for my £1 rail charity shop victorianna style shirt and long black pencil skirt from ASDA – comfy Classic Court Tradition Nikes and my statement hat! bagged in my local Boutique courtesy of mum

I have been a fan and a loyal customer of Soap & Glory since they launched in 2006, they never fail to bring new affordable products, that look as good as they smell which is amazing – like the Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss, which is great for a natural glossy plump.

Next post coming up is ‘For The love Of Soap & Glory’ where I share my favourite S&G products from over the years so stay tuned 🙂
