Plant Protein Smoothie

Although this isn’t a sweet smoothie, it is robust and leaves you feeling full and ready to take on the day – making it the ultimate breakfast blend. And it’s 100% plant based

You Will Need:

1tbsp Peanut butter

Handful of raspberries

Handful of blueberries

Handful of chopped mango

Handful of porridge oats (I use gluten free jumbo oats)

1 tsp cinnamon

3 tbsp Soya yogurt or coconut yogurt. (Kefir or natural Greek yogurts are also a good options for this recipe)

Splash of Soya milk and water

1tbsp hemp protein powder

Pinch of vanilla essence

For sweetness either add 1tsp of agave nectar or maple syrup (honey for non vegan recipe)

Method:

Blend all the ingredients together in your blender. Make sure you put the peanut butter in last with the yogurt, this will prevent it from sticking to the bottom.

Drink and enjoy

For an alternative energy kick: add coffee and ice for a frappe style blend
